To create a category page and place it in your main menu navigation, you can follow these steps:

  1. Once you've logged into your Givecloud admin, head to Features > Website > Categories on the left-hand menu.

  2. Click the 'Add' button to create a new category.

  3. Name the category whatever you like (maybe something like 'Funds' or 'Store') and click save.

  4. ‚ÄčOnce you save the category, you should see the URL for the category page appear at the top of the page underneath the page title.

  5. Copy the URL.

  6. Next head to Features > Website > Pages & Menus.

  7. Click the dropdown arrow on the green 'Add a page' button and select 'add a link.'

  8. Give the link a name (this is what will show in your website's main menu), paste the URL in the URL field, set the menu placement to 'Main Menu,' and select the check box to 'publish now.'

  9. Next, head to Features > Sell & Fundraise > Items and open up any items you wish to assign to that new category you have just created.

  10. Scroll down to the category field on each item page & enter the new category you have created and click save.
