When creating or editing a category, you have two options when saving:

  1. Click the Save button, and this will update your category page without affecting your site menu.

  2. Check Save & Update Menu, and this will update your category page and automatically update your site menu, adding the category page to your main menu.

To automatically update your menu each time you save a Product Category, use the dropdown arrow to the right of 'Save' and select 'Save & Update Menu.' If the category doesn't already exist in your menu, it will be automatically added to the end of your main menu (or as a sub-menu of its parent category). If the category already exists, its name and link will be updated (if it has changed).

If you've created a large number of product categories and want to add them all to your menu at once:

  1. Go to Features > Website > Pages & Menus from the left menu.

  2. Click the dropdown arrow to the right of + Add a Page and select + Add All Product Categories.

  3. Follow the prompts.

If you'd like to add your product categories one at a time, or you've already added all your categories to your main menu but want to add one or two additional categories after the fact:

  1. Go to Features > Website > Pages & Menus from the left menu.

  2. Click the + Add a Page button.

  3. Page Name - Name your page the same name as your category.

  4. Content-Type - Choose, Add a Category.

  5. A new select box will appear with a list of product categories. Choose the category you want to add to your menu.

  6. Under the Menu dropdown, choose where you want your category to display.

  7. Optionally, include any subcategories.

  8. Save.
