Getting Started with Tributes
Set up the types of tribute you wish to have on your site (ex: In-Memory, Birthday Wishes, Holiday Wishes, etc.) Make sure to format each customized email and letter.
Choose the items that will include Tributes.
If you wish to have tribute-specific items, learn more about creating ecards and tributes.

A. Setup Tribute Types
Go to Features > Tribute Types.
This screen lists all your tribute types. By default, this list will include in-honor and in-memory tributes as examples.
Click the Add button to add a new tribute type.
Setup the new tribute type. include the following information,
Sequence: This determines the order your tribute types display on your website when a supporter selects their tribute type.
Label: The name or label of this tribute type.
(Ex: In-Memory or Birthday Wishes)
Status: Determines whether or not this tribute is live on your account or not.
If you are using DonorPerfect and your account is connected to Givecloud, a DonorPerfect integration box will appear to connect these tributes/eCards to your tribute codes in DonorPerfect - if you are using that functionality.
When you are ready, Save.
Repeat this process for each type of tribute you want to be able to offer on your site.
If you only create one type of tribute, Givecloud will never ask your donors what 'type' of dedication they want to make, as there is only one option.
B. Setup your Items
Go to Features > Sell & Fundraise > Items.
Find the item you want to offer tribute donations on.
Click the item thumbnail to the left of the item to open and edit it.
In the General tab, scroll to the bottom of the screen until you reach the Tributes panel.
Use the Tribute panel to configure how you want tributes to work on this specific item.
When you are ready, click the Save button in the top right corner.
Once saved, click the URL at the top to see how your item looks on your site.
